Associate – Finance & Operations
Location: New York, NY | Hybrid: 3 days onsite | Hours: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
We’re seeking an Associate to join a growing multi-strategy investment firm with $1.8B AUM across Private Equity, Hedge Funds, and Fund-of-Funds. This role offers hands-on exposure to fund accounting, cash management, investor relations, and operational oversight in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Responsibilities:
- Process and track capital calls, distributions, invoices, and cash movements
- Perform daily bank reconciliations and support monthly/quarterly reporting
- Manage relationships with fund administrators and service providers
- Support investor onboarding, AML/KYC requests, DDQs, and reporting materials
- Maintain operational processes and internal tracking of investor activity
Qualifications:
- 2 yearsof experience at a fund, fund administrator, or public accounting (audit) firm with HF or PE experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Strong Excel and understanding of fund accounting
- Excellent communication, judgment, and attention to detail
- CPA not required
Compensation & Benefits:
- Base: $120K–$140K
- Bonus: ~25% target fund performance incentives
