Associate – Finance & Operations

Location: New York, NY | Hybrid: 3 days onsite | Hours: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM

We’re seeking an Associate to join a growing multi-strategy investment firm with $1.8B AUM across Private Equity, Hedge Funds, and Fund-of-Funds. This role offers hands-on exposure to fund accounting, cash management, investor relations, and operational oversight in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities:

• Process and track capital calls, distributions, invoices, and cash movements
• Perform daily bank reconciliations and support monthly/quarterly reporting
• Manage relationships with fund administrators and service providers
• Support investor onboarding, AML/KYC requests, DDQs, and reporting materials
• Maintain operational processes and internal tracking of investor activity

Qualifications:

• 2 yearsof experience at a fund, fund administrator, or public accounting (audit) firm with HF or PE experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Strong Excel and understanding of fund accounting
• Excellent communication, judgment, and attention to detail
• CPA not required

Compensation & Benefits:

• Base: $120K–$140K
• Bonus: ~25% target fund performance incentives
