Associate Litigation Attorney – Toxic Tort & Asbestos Defense
A nationally recognized litigation practice is seeking an Associate Litigation Attorney with experience in toxic tort and asbestos defense litigation to support a sophisticated defense practice handling complex toxic exposure matters throughout California.
Location:
- California (Hybrid, Remote, or Office-Based)
Compensation:
- $130,000–$200,000 , depending on experience and qualifications. Exceptional candidates may be considered above the published range.
Responsibilities:
- Manage toxic tort and asbestos litigation matters.
- Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, reports, and case evaluations.
- Prepare and respond to written discovery.
- Take and defend depositions.
- Assist with mediation, arbitration, settlement conferences, and trial preparation.
- Manage deadlines, court appearances, and client reporting.
Requirements:
- Active California State Bar membership.
- 2 years of litigation experience.
- Prior billable-hour experience.
- Toxic tort and/or asbestos litigation experience.
- Strong legal writing, organizational, and case-management skills.
Salary Range: $130,000–$200,000
