A California-based litigation practice is seeking an attorney with experience in landlord-tenant and real estate litigation to join a growing litigation team handling high-demand matters throughout California.
This opportunity offers direct mentorship from an experienced practitioner while providing exposure to unlawful detainer matters, property disputes, land-use litigation, and related civil litigation work. Attorneys in this role will work in a fast-paced environment with substantial courtroom exposure and increasing autonomy as they ramp into the practice.
Responsibilities
- Handle unlawful detainer matters from intake through trial
- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and litigation-related filings
- Conduct hearings, court appearances, and trial preparation
- Manage landlord-tenant and property-related disputes
- Maintain direct client communication and provide litigation strategy guidance
- Collaborate with leadership while independently managing a caseload
- Participate in broader real estate and land-use litigation matters
Qualifications
- 3 years of landlord-tenant or eviction litigation experience
- California Bar admission in good standing
- Courtroom and litigation experience preferred
- Real estate litigation experience strongly preferred
- Ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced litigation environment
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary: $175,000 – $225,000
