What you will be doing

• Lead civil litigation matters from inception through verdict
• Serve as first chair in jury and bench trials involving public entities
• Develop trial strategy, prepare witnesses, and conduct examinations
• Handle discovery, depositions, and complex motion practice
• Draft persuasive briefs, pleadings, and legal memoranda
• Argue motions, including Motions in Limine, and manage jury selection
• Advise and regularly communicate with government clients
• Appear at hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials
• Stay current on changes in California law impacting public entities

Compensation and benefits

• Salary range: $200,000 to $225,000, depending on background
• Annual billable hours bonus program
