We are building the next generation of digital platforms that power how veterinary hospitals operate and how pet owners interact with their care providers. We are seeking a Product Manager to help lead this transformation across our Client Portal, Hospital Portal, and Online Booking systems. In this role, you will help replace legacy vendor systems with modern internal platforms designed around real hospital workflows and better client experiences. You will own these systems leading discovery, prioritization, and delivery while working closely with engineering, operations, and go-to-market teams. The Product Manager will oversee product discovery and platform strategy, while partnering with 1–2 Product Owners who support delivery execution, including backlog management and story development. Together, the team will guide ideas from early discovery through production, using tools like Jira Product Discovery, Jira, and Confluence, while also evolving our discovery practices through thoughtful use of AIassisted workflows combined with strong human judgment and operational insight. Opportunity is fully remote.

Problems You’ll Solve in Your First 12 Months
- Replace vendor software with internal platforms Identify and prioritize the operational workflows currently supported by external vendor systems and ensure our internal platforms support or improve those capabilities. Improve technology for veterinary hospitals Work closely with hospital operations teams to improve how staff interact with the Hospital Portal, simplifying daily workflows and reducing operational friction.
- Create a better experience for pet owners Drive improvements to the Client Portal and Online Booking systems, making it easier for pet owners to schedule care and interact with their veterinary provider. Turn ideas into validated product initiatives Establish a consistent process for capturing and evaluating ideas using Jira Product Discovery, ensuring the most impactful opportunities move forward. Build a strong discovery → delivery pipeline Guide ideas from idea → discovery → prioritization → development, ensuring engineering teams always have clear and actionable work.
- Launch new capabilities successfully Partner with the Go-to-Market lead to support product launches, documentation, and adoption across hospitals.
- Lead product discovery and initiative development using Jira Product Discovery. Capture and evaluate ideas from hospital teams, stakeholders, and customer feedback. Validate problems and opportunities before moving work into development. Prioritize initiatives based on customer value, operational impact, and engineering effort. Continuously improve the idea → discovery → delivery workflow.
- Own the Client Portal, Hospital Portal, and Online Booking systems Align on platform strategy, priorities, and roadmap initiatives. Ensure the platforms evolve cohesively and support the operational needs of veterinary hospitals.
- Delivery Leadership Oversee the product delivery process in partnership with 1–2 Product Owners. Provide clear product direction, initiative scope, and requirements for delivery. Ensure Product Owners have the context needed to manage backlogs, stories, and sprint-ready work. Maintain alignment between product priorities and engineering execution.
- Vendor Parity & Platform Migration Identify key workflows currently supported by vendor software. Ensure new internal platforms maintain functional parity for critical hospital operations. Prioritize initiatives that support migration from vendor platforms to internal tools Go-To-Market Collaboration Partner with the Go-to-Market lead to support feature launches and product rollouts. Ensure new capabilities are clearly documented and ready for operational adoption. Provide product context for training, communications, and rollout planning.
- AI-Enabled Product Development Help reimagine and improve the product discovery process using AI tools alongside human insight. Use tools such as Cursor and other AI assistants to accelerate research, documentation, and early story development. Ensure AI-assisted outputs are validated through human judgment, stakeholder feedback, and operational review.
- Maintain product documentation and decision records in Confluence. Ensure workflows, feature specifications, and product decisions are clearly documented and accessible
- 5 years of experience in Product Management
- Experience leading products through discovery, prioritization, and delivery
- Experience working with Agile teams using Kanban or continuous delivery
- Strong experience with Jira, Jira Product Discovery, and Confluence
- Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration skills
- Ability to translate operational needs into clear product direction
- Experience building SaaS platforms, operational software, or healthcare technology
- Experience working on client portals, operational dashboards, or scheduling systems.
- Experience replacing legacy or vendor software platforms
- Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor
