Role Description The Sales Training Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Pearl, MS.The primary function of the Sales Training Manager will work to maximize the effectiveness of training companywide within the Sales and Retail Departments by developing and presenting training to Sales Associates, Sales support and Sales Managers based on training needs. The Sales Training Manager must focus on customer service, customer education, staff training, policies and procedures, product education with a strong emphasis on mattress and bedding training. High priority and efforts are expected in the areas of communication, motivation, and educating Sales Associates and Managers to maximize sales performance.
Duties

- Determine training requirements by studying sales and marketing strategic plans and current/historical sales results; conferring with sales leadership; reviewing results of coaching; evaluating training effectiveness
- Develop content and resources to present to all sales teams; document and build digital library to store materials and publish on intranet as needed
- Implement training according to sales and marketing strategy plans
- Lead all mattress and bedding training
- Collaborate and work with bedding buyer on mattress placement and individual mattress success
- Work with sales managers on one-to-one trainings with Sales Associates and support staff
- Lead and execute the Summer of Sleep campaign
- Work with sales leaders to rollout contests and other campaigns
- Create content and present trainings during morning huddle meetings
- Build relationships with vendors to effectively communicate the training needs from vendors
- Coordinate trainings with vendors
- Serve as a floating store manager as needed
- Travel to all store locations as needed
Qualifications
- A minimum of 2 years Sales Experience required
- Minimum of 2 years in Sales Trainings and Training & Development, with experience designing and implementing sales training programs.
- Hands-on experience delivering Training sessions and workshops, with the ability to adapt content to different experience levels.
- Excellent Communication and Coaching skills, with the ability to motivate and guide sales professionals toward performance goals.
- Proven experience in retail or furniture sales environments, with a solid understanding of consultative selling and customer service.
- Ability to analyze sales data and training outcomes to refine programs and improve results.
- Comfort working on-site in a fast-paced retail environment and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency with presentation tools and basic office software (Teams, Microsoft Office); experience with Loft and HubSpot a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Education, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent work experience - not required, but a plus.
