Job Summary
Miskelly Furniture is seeking a dependable and hardworking Maintenance – Recycle Associate to support our warehouse and facilities team. This role is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, recycling operations, and assisting with general maintenance tasks to ensure a safe and organized environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate compactors, balers, and other recycling equipment safely and efficiently.
- upkeep with the flow of the delivery process
- Maintain cleanliness in warehouse, dock, and recycling areas.
- Safely handle and dispose of waste materials according to company and environmental guidelines.
- Support warehouse and delivery teams as needed
- Report equipment issues or safety hazards to supervisors promptly.
- Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous experience in maintenance, warehouse, or recycling operations is a plus.
- Ability to lift and move items (up to 75 lbs).
- Basic mechanical aptitude and familiarity with hand tools.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
Schedule:
Monday - Friday with occasional Saturdays when needed for coverage
9:00am - 5:30p (30min. lunch)
