The Miraval Mansion Houseperson supports evening operations by maintaining cleanliness and organization of common areas, restrooms, and event spaces in the historic Wyndhurst Mansion. This role ensures a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for guests and plays a key part in setting up and breaking down event spaces.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Clean and maintain common areas, including lobbies, hallways, lounges, and stairwells
• Clean, sanitize, and restock restrooms throughout the shift
• Empty trash and recycling containers and replace liners
• Set up and break down banquet spaces, including tables, chairs, staging, linens, podiums, and other event equipment
• Transport, load, and unload furniture and equipment safely
• Maintain cleanliness of function rooms, hallways, storage areas, restrooms, as well as outdoor event spaces
• Follow all safety procedures, including proper lifting techniques
• Report maintenance or safety issues to the appropriate department promptly

Qualifications

• Ability to lift and carry up and down stairs, up to 50–75 pounds and remain on feet for extended periods
• Ability to follow diagrams, written and verbal instructions
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Dependable, punctual, and flexible with scheduling
• Willingness to work afternoon to evening hours with late evenings at times
