Summary

A massage therapist is responsible for delivery of exceptional massage and body treatments. This position will undergo a focused training program that is flexible to progress at the pace of each ideal candidate based on their skillset, experience and process.

Must possess a current and valid Arizona Massage Therapist License to be considered for the position. If you are planning to relocate the state and hold a current and valid license in another state, please make a note of that in your application, we may be willing to financially reimburse the ideal candidate new to Arizona licensure for their license transfer fees.

Distribution of Signing Bonus:

Full time - $5,000

• $2,000 paid in the pay week following the completion of Miraval Orientation (2 days) and Spa Orientation (2 days)
• $1,500 paid in the pay week following the 1 year anniversary
• $1,500 paid in the pay week following the 2 year anniversary
• Exact benefit package is contingent on status
  
  

Qualifications

The ideal massage therapist candidate will have the instinct to exude the following:

• Excellent communication
• Guest service skills
• Confident technical skills and strong educational background, with the ability to adjust techniques according to the intake assessment with the guest, indicators in treatment and contraindications
• Exceptional team player, share and maintain a positive attitude in a robust spa environment
• Solutions oriented approach to problem solving, capable of dealing with stressful situations calmly and professionally
• Time management awareness
• Organizational skills
• High standard of tidiness and sanitation awareness
• Availability to work a schedule that includes, evenings, weekends and holidays is required
