- Recording patient responses to treatments and reporting outcomes to physical therapists
- Preparing for each patient's therapy sessions
- Assisting with patient transportation and ordering depleted supplies
- Answering phones and completing insurance forms and other paperwork
- Reading patient evaluations and familiarizing yourself with the Plan of Care
- Administering balance and muscle strength tests
- Graduate from an accredited PTA school and certified in the state of Florida
- Professional and ethical team player
- CPR certified
- Basic knowledge in all modalities
- Understanding of goniometer and dynamometer operations
- Ability to assist with lifting, pulling, and pushing patients
- Compassionate, caring, and dedicated to helping patients achieve their maximum physical potential
