Resident Admissions & First Impressions
- Ensure resident rooms are fully prepared before admission, including providing a welcome basket.
- Greet new residents upon arrival, ensuring their comfort by offering food or beverages as per diet orders.
- Assist residents in contacting their families and provide relevant department head contact information.
- Educate residents on facility amenities, call light usage, and Wi-Fi connectivity.
- Introduce residents to their assigned CNA and nurse to establish rapport.
- Conduct regular check-ins:
- First 72 hours: Daily visits to new residents to ensure comfort, food satisfaction, and timely responses from staff.
- Ongoing Rounds: Visit skilled patients daily and long-term care residents weekly.
- Address resident concerns in real time and ensure resolution within 30 minutes whenever possible.
- Maintain and update a daily rounding log to track resident needs and feedback.
- Identify and execute Premier Performance Moments (e.g., celebrating birthdays, fulfilling special requests).
- Gather resident feedback through surveys or informal discussions to improve overall satisfaction.
- Serve as the central communication point for the Facility, directing calls and inquiries appropriately.
- Respond promptly (within 15-25 minutes) to residents, family, and staff inquiries.
- Provide a warm, professional, and welcoming environment for all visitors and staff.
- Maintain a professional appearance, adhering to the Facility’s uniform policy.
- Distribute business cards with Guest Services Coordinator contact details during admissions and facility tours.
