Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to identify strengths, weaknesses, and deficits
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
- Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques and strategies to address cognitive, physical, and sensory deficits
- Provide education and training to patients, families, and caregivers on optimal functional abilities and ADLs
- Participate in regular team conferences and care plan updates
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state of Florida
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in acute, sub-acute, or long-term care settings
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary team
- Familiarity with Medicare and Medicaid regulations and guidelines
