Responsibilities
- Conduct initial and ongoing assessments of residents' physical, cognitive, and emotional needs
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
- Provide occupational therapy services, including but not limited to:
- ADLs (activities of daily living) training
- Mobility and balance exercises
- Strengthening and flexibility exercises
- Cognitive stimulation activities
- Monitor and record resident progress, making adjustments to therapy plans as needed
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members to ensure optimal care
