We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our care team at Oasis at the Conch Republic, a premier Assisted Living Facilities in Key West, Florida. As an Occupational Therapist with our organization, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of our residents and their families.
About the Role:
As an Occupational Therapist, you will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans that promote functional independence, safety, and well-being for our residents. You will conduct assessments, set goals, and provide interventions to residents with a range of diagnoses and abilities. Your expertise will also be invaluable in facilitating resident-centered care and promoting a culture of wellness and dignity.
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive assessments of residents' physical, cognitive, and emotional needs
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address residents' goals and needs
Provide occupational therapy interventions, including training, therapy, and education
Collaborate with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of resident assessments and treatment plans
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and hospital-wide committees
Requirements:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state of Florida
Experience in occupational therapy, preferably in a long-term care or assisted living setting
Level of Education in occupational therapy
