Responsibilities
- Assist occupational therapists in the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans for patients with various medical conditions and disabilities
- Conduct occupational therapy treatments and activities under the supervision of a licensed occupational therapist
- Use therapeutic modalities, such as exercises, activities, and interventions, to promote patient participation, mobility, and independence
- Document patient progress and treatment plans in a timely and accurate manner
- Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive care and coordination
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and staff
- Current certification as a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) in the state of Florida
- Minimum 6months to 1 year of experience as a COTA (new graduates encouraged to apply)
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with diverse patient populations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
- Competitive hourly rate of $29-$35/hour
