- Develop and lead activities such as social events, games, arts and crafts, and exercise programs that cater to the diverse needs and interests of our residents
- Collaborate with the Activities Director to create a monthly calendar of events that promote socialization, relaxation, and emotional well-being
- Assist in planning and executing themed events, parties, and outings that bring joy and excitement to our residents
- Participate in assessing resident needs and preferences to develop personalized activity plans
- Maintain accurate records of activity participation, including attendance, feedback, and suggestions
- Assist with facility upkeep, including cleaning and organizing activity areas
- Provide support to other departments as needed, including dietary, housekeeping, and nursing
- 6 months of experience (training provided)
- Ability to work effectively with diverse populations, including seniors and individuals with disabilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to lift 25-50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- CNA license preferred
