As a key member of our Activities Department, you will play a vital role in designing and implementing a variety of recreational, social, and therapeutic activities to enhance the overall well-being and quality of life for our residents.Responsibilities:Develop and lead activities such as social events, games, arts and crafts, and exercise programs that cater to the diverse needs and interests of our residentsCollaborate with the Activities Director to create a monthly calendar of events that promote socialization, relaxation, and emotional well-beingAssist in planning and executing themed events, parties, and outings that bring joy and excitement to our residentsParticipate in assessing resident needs and preferences to develop personalized activity plansMaintain accurate records of activity participation, including attendance, feedback, and suggestionsAssist with facility upkeep, including cleaning and organizing activity areasProvide support to other departments as needed, including dietary, housekeeping, and nursingRequirements:6 months of experience (training provided)Ability to work effectively with diverse populations, including seniors and individuals with disabilitiesExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to adapt to changing circumstances and prioritiesStrong organizational and time management skillsAbility to lift 25-50 pounds and stand for extended periodsCNA license preferredWork Environment:Our state-of-the-art facility is designed to provide a warm and welcoming environment for our residents.
