We are seeking an accomplished Chief Operating Officer (COO) to lead our operations as we continue to expand throughout Pennsylvania.
Position Summary
The Chief Operating Officer (COO) is responsible for the overall operational performance of the organization. Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, the COO will oversee all care operations, office leadership, operational strategy, quality initiatives, and growth execution across multiple Pennsylvania locations.
This role requires an experienced executive who can build high-performing teams, drive operational excellence, improve profitability, and develop scalable systems to support continued growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide executive leadership for all Pennsylvania CHC operations.
- Direct and support regional leadership, office managers, and operations teams.
- Standardize operational processes across all branch locations.
- Monitor and improve key performance indicators including billable hours, authorizations, staffing, caregiver retention, client satisfaction, and operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with Pennsylvania Department of Health regulations, Community HealthChoices requirements, EVV, HHAeXchange, and Managed Care Organization policies.
- Partner with HR and recruiting leadership to improve caregiver recruitment and retention.
- Oversee operational budgeting, productivity, and profitability.
- Lead process improvement and technology initiatives to increase efficiency and scalability.
- Conduct regular operational visits to branch offices throughout Pennsylvania.
- Support new office openings, acquisitions, and strategic expansion initiatives.
- Develop and mentor operational leaders while maintaining a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Help company reach 100 Million annual revenue and maximize profitability and retention.
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Nursing, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 10 years of progressive healthcare leadership experience.
- Minimum 5 years leading multi-site operations.
- Demonstrated experience managing large operational teams and multiple branch locations.
- Strong knowledge of Pennsylvania Community HealthChoices (CHC) operations.
- Experience with EVV, HHAeXchange, managed care reimbursement, and operational compliance.
- Strong financial management and analytical skills.
- Ability to travel throughout Pennsylvania.
Preferred
- MBA, MHA, or other advanced degree.
- Previous executive leadership experience within a Pennsylvania home care agency.
- Experience leading organizations with annual revenues exceeding $20 million.
