Duties

• Greet patients warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in procedures to ensure a smooth clinic flow
• Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments using electronic medical record systems
• Collect and verify patient information, insurance details, and update medical records accurately
• Communicate effectively with patients regarding treatment plans, appointment reminders, and follow-up instructions
• Coordinate with medical staff to ensure timely delivery of patient care and manage patient flow throughout the day
• Assist with billing processes, insurance claims, and payment collections as needed
• Maintain a clean, organized reception area and ensure all administrative materials are up-to-date

Requirements

• Prior experience working in a medical or dental office environment is highly preferred
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology to accurately communicate with healthcare providers and patients
• Proven ability to provide excellent medical administrative support in a busy office setting
• Office experience demonstrating proficiency with scheduling software and electronic health records (EHR) systems
• Excellent communication skills—friendly, professional, and detail-oriented
• Ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude under pressure
• Knowledge of dental office procedures is a plus but not required
