What are the responsibilities and job description for the Welder/Fabricator position at Minute Men Staffing?
Now hiring a Welder/Fabricator for a company in Canton.
Monday – Thursday, 6am – 4:30pm.
Weekly pay ranging between $25 - $28 per hour.
Job Duties:
- Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately fabricate components.
- Operate power tools, hand tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and machining equipment to cut, shape, and assemble sheet metal and other materials.
- Perform MIG and TIG welding techniques to join metals securely.
- Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers and tape measures to ensure dimensional accuracy of fabricated parts.
- Execute pipe threading, frame/guard manufacturing, and assembly of mechanical components with rigging and mechanical knowledge.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols related to construction site practices, crane operation, forklift handling, and power tool usage.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Proven experience with hands-on fabrication.
- Proficient MIG and TIG welding methods.
- Strong ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
