Maintenance Technician

Under the supervision of the Facilities Supervisor, IT & Facilities Dept., the Maintenance Technician is responsible for:

• Maintain and/or provide a clean, safe work environment
• Perform routing maintenance and repairs on equipment and facilities
• Handle basic painting, drywall repair, and general upkeep tasks
• Use hand and power tools safely and effectively
• Conduct inspections to identify issues and report needed repairs
  

Job required knowledge, Skills and Education

• Basic knowledge of maintenance tasks, tools, and equipment
• Experience with painting and general repairs preferred
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team
• Good problem-solving skills
• Physical ability to lift, carry, and perform manual labor as needed
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
• Good written and verbal communication skills
