Execute a variety of manual and technical tasks to bring building projects from foundation to completion. Responsibilities include preparing job sites, assisting skilled tradespeople, and strictly enforcing safety regulations. Physical stamina and mechanical aptitude are essential.
Responsibilities:
- Clear debris, remove hazards, and set up temporary structures like barricades and scaffolding
- Load, unload, and transport building materials and tools across the job site
- Safely operate power tools and heavy-duty machinery
- Support skilled tradespeople (such as electricians, plumbers, and carpenters)
- Remove refuse, organize tools, and ensure the work area is clean and safe at the end of the shift
Qualifications:
- Ability to perform strenuous tasks, lift heavy objects (often 50 lbs), and stand for long hours in varying weather conditions
- Basic ability to use and maintain a wide variety of hand and power tools.
- A strong understanding of OSHA guidelines and commitment to wearing required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
