What are the responsibilities and job description for the Fitting Worker position at Minute Men Staffing?
Now hiring Fitting Workers for a manufacturing company in Streetsboro for 1st shift, 6am – 4:30pm.
Monday – Thursday with possible overtime on Fridays.
Weekly pay at $17 per hour.
Job Duties:
- Position and align fittings or components (e.g., spouts, plugs, bungs) into lids or containers.
- Load fittings into fixtures, jigs, or press feeds.
- Ensure correct fit, orientation, and placement before pressing.
- Inspect parts for proper seating, tightness, or alignment after installation.
- Perform minor adjustments or rework if parts are misfit.
- Handle and stage components for press operations.
- Support press operators by keeping materials flowing.
- Identify defects related to fit rather than machine operation.
Requirements:
- Manual dexterity and attention to detail
- Understanding part tolerances and alignment
- Quality control
- Assembly knowledge
