Job Title: Maintenance Worker (Part-Time / Evenings & Weekends)
Location: Western Reserve Racquet & Fitness Club, Streetsboro, OH
Compensation: Part-Time, $15 per hour
Job Summary: Western Reserve Racquet & Fitness Club is seeking a reliable, proactive, and hands-on Maintenance Worker to join our team. We take pride in providing a pristine environment for our tennis and fitness members. We are looking for a Closing Shift specialist who takes ownership of the facility, ensuring the club is clean, stocked, and secure for the next day.
We are specifically looking to fill our Closing Shift. Reliability is our number one priority. Shifts include 6:00 PM - Midnight during the week, and 12 PM - 6 PM on Weekends. We are looking for someone to reliably work weekend shifts, and fill gaps during the week as needed. While we offer flexibility on weekdays, consistent weekend availability is required for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Locker Room & Facility Hygiene: Maintain cleanliness of lockers rooms (showers, saunas, toilets, & sinks). Ensure floors are vacuumed and mopped, and counters are clean. Ensure all trash cans are emptied,
- Fitness & Court Upkeep: Maintain cleanliness of the
- Stocking & Inventory: Monitor and restock cleaning supplies and tennis balls. Assist bar operations with stocking and changing kegs as needed.
- General Maintenance & Grounds: Perform light maintenance such as changing light bulbs, shoveling snow/salting walkways, blowing leaves, etc. Act as a point of contact during the closing shift to assist members, support the front desk, and report any maintenance issues to management.
What We Are Looking For:
- Reliability: Showing up on time. You are the person we can count on to close the facility correctly.
- Self-Starter: You are comfortable working from a checklist and managing your time effectively without constant supervision.
- Physical Capability: Able to be on your feet for most of your shift, lift heavy items (kegs, shoveling snow), and operate basic equipment (leaf blowers, court sweepers).
