Job Overview

Responsibilities
- Supervise and monitor children during play, meals, naps, and educational activities to ensure safety at all times
- Implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning, creativity, and social skills
- Provide basic caregiving duties such as feeding, diapering, and assisting with toilet training for infants and toddlers
- Support children with disabilities or special needs by adapting activities and providing individualized care
- Maintain a clean and organized environment in compliance with health and safety standards
- Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding children's progress, behaviors, and needs
- Assist with classroom management and behavior guidance to foster positive interactions among children
- Administer first aid when necessary and respond promptly to emergencies or health concerns
Experience
- Prior experience working with children in settings such as daycare, preschool, babysitting, nannying, or early childhood education is highly preferred
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and behavior management techniques
- Experience caring for infants, toddlers, or children with special needs is a plus
- Familiarity with classroom experience or caregiving roles that involve teaching or nurturing young children
- Certification in first aid or CPR is advantageous but not mandatory; training can be provided if needed
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with children of diverse backgrounds and abilities
