Job Summary:
The Electro-Mechanical Assembler will work under the general supervision of the Electronic Manufacturing Supervisor to manufacture, inspect, refurbish, test, and program electronic equipment.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
Initially you will start our by shipping (packing products with appropriate paperwork and shipping them.) After that they will provide assembly training (no electronic experience needed)
The ideal candidate will need to like to put things together and have mechanical aptitude.
- Build electro-mechanical and mechanical assemblies per applicable documentation and quality workmanship standards.
- Follow work process instructions and specifications, both written and verbal.
- Assemble electro-mechanical and mechanical devices or components using a variety of hardware / tools. Assemblies include cables, harnesses or chassis modules.
- Understand and identify defects in accordance with applicable workmanship standard and class.
-Perform verification tests in accordance with assembly instructions.
- Responsible for performing repetitive electro-mechanical assembly with hand/electrical tools.
- Basic soldering and de-soldering with a hand held soldering equipment is necessary.
- Participate in continuous improvement and maintain a productive working relationship.
- Performs other duties as assigned including moving of material as needed.
- Candidate may also be required to test and program equipment as needed.
Qualifications:
- MUST to be able to lift 50 lbs.
- The ideal candidate will have assembly experience and the ability to make piece parts on a repetitive basis.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Basic math skills.
- Ability to work in a changing fast paced environment.
- High School diploma.
- One year of electronic or mechanical assembly is a plus
- Working knowledge of mechanical processes and terminology
- High mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Lean Manufacturing experience highly desirable
- Demonstrate dependability, flexibility, and the ability to work under minimal supervision.
- Ability to follow detailed technical instructions
- Troubleshooting and soldering experience a plus
Schedule: 8:30am - 5:00pm (Monday - Friday)
Compensation: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour (Paid Weekly)
