What’s This Role About?

We’re seeking a dynamic Marketing Specialist to join our marketing team at Mintz Group. Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer and based out of our Washington, DC or New York office, the Marketing Specialist will play a key role in executing go-to-market strategies across print, digital, and event channels. This role combines creative copywriting with hands-on marketing execution, supporting campaigns that drive brand awareness, client acquisition, and engagement.

What are Your Key Responsibilities?

Content Development

  • Write compelling copy for digital and print assets, including web pages, email campaigns, brochures, social media, and thought leadership pieces.
  • Ensure messaging aligns with brand voice and go-to-market priorities

Campaign Support

  • Assist in planning and executing integrated marketing campaigns across sectors and services.
  • Collaborate with sales and product teams to develop targeted content for pipeline acceleration.

Digital Marketing

  • Support website updates, SEO optimization, and social media engagement.
  • Coordinate with design resources to produce visually impactful marketing materials.

Event & Conference Support

  • Manage logistics and marketing collateral for conferences, webinars, and client events.
  • Develop pre- and post-event communication plans to maximize ROI.

General Marketing Activities

  • Maintain marketing calendars and ensure timely delivery of assets.
  • Track campaign performance and assist with reporting and analytics.

What Makes You a Great Fit

  • Education & Marketing Foundation: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field, with 2 years of hands-on marketing experience.
  • Copywriting & Content Expertise: Strong copywriting skills with the ability to craft compelling messaging for both print and digital channels.
  • Marketing Tools & Platforms: Familiarity with marketing automation tools, CRM systems, and social media platforms to support campaign execution and performance tracking.
  • Project Management & Organization: Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Collaboration & Communication: Strong interpersonal skills and a proven ability to collaborate effectively across teams and departments.
  • Creative Storytelling & Strategy: A creative storyteller who pairs innovative ideas with a strategic, results-driven mindset.
  • Versatility & Execution: Comfortable shifting between content creation, campaign execution, and event coordination as business needs evolve.
  • Attention to Detail & Proactivity: Detail-oriented, proactive, and passionate about driving measurable marketing results through thoughtful execution and continuous improvement.

Salary Range: $70,000-85,000
