What are the responsibilities and job description for the Studio Assistant position at Minimalist Jewelry and Accessories for Men?
We are a accessories brand looking for a dependable and organized studio assistant.
This hands-on role supports the day-to-day operations of our small-business studio, including
fulfilling retail and wholesale orders, maintaining our wholesale client list, drafting emails, and
managing inventory.
$20 per hour
16 hours per week (Tue/Fri 8:30-430pm)
In person at our Hoboken studio
RESPONSIBILITIES
Pick and pack Shopify and wholesale orders
Process orders and complete basic tasks in Faire
Receive and organize incoming inventory
Update inventory and order information as needed
Assemble packaging and prepare products for sale
Communicate with wholesale customers when necessary
Keep the studio clean, organized, and running smoothly
Help with product samples, photography setups, displays, and other studio projects
Pitch in with other day-to-day studio needs
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Reliable, punctual, organized, and detail-oriented
Comfortable working independently and switching between tasks
Able to follow packing, shipping, and inventory procedures
Comfortable using a computer and learning Shopify, Faire, and ShipStation
Able to lift and move cartons when needed
E-commerce, wholesale, shipping, retail, or studio experience is helpful, but not required
