The Aftermarket Support Specialist role is responsible for supporting sales teams and customers on specialized commercial parts and supplies and all aftermarket parts and supplies.
Job Duties And Responsibilities
- Execute daily operations of the sales support role, ensuring efficiency and adherence to company standards
- Deliver high-quality, responsive service to clients and territory managers, addressing inquiries, managing orders, and resolving issues promptly in a fast paced environment.
- Assist in the development of sales strategies for parts, aligning with the company’s objectives
- Assist in the implementation of sales promotions.
- Provide technical support as needed.
- Monitor sales metrics, analyze trends, and implement improvements to sales processes
- Work closely with inventory teams to ensure accurate stock levels for commercial parts, minimizing both overstock and stockouts
- Coordinate with purchasing to forecast needs and manage supply chain logistics
- Use data to drive decision-making and optimize team performance
- Liaise with other departments such as marketing, technical support, and sales to ensure a cohesive approach to business objectives
- Participate in cross-functional teams to drive company-wide initiatives
- Assist store personnel (ISPs and DCMs) in identifying, quoting and ordering parts and supplies
- Work cooperatively with others
- Participate in ongoing training to stay current on product knowledge.
- Comply with all company policies and procedures
- Maintain regular, punctual and reliable attendance and availability
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- 2 years’ experience in the HVAC industry or related field
- 2 years HVAC commercial parts and products experience
- 2 years customer service experience
- Proficient computer skills in MS Office, specifically MS Excel.
- SAP experience, a plus
- Proven multi-tasking skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Analytical aptitude preferred
- Possess a valid driver’s license
- Possess a satisfactory driving record as determined by company driver policies
- Up to 25% travel to branches and other operating companies requiring some overnight stay, travel to industry related conferences and training requiring some extended stay
