Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and driven Bar Manager to oversee all bar operations across the Miners Hotel 1928 campus. This role is responsible for maintaining exceptional beverage programs, leading bar teams, and delivering a high-end guest experience across multiple venues.
Duties
- Oversee daily operations of all bars on property, ensuring consistency and excellence
- Develop and maintain innovative cocktail, wine, and beer programs aligned with the hotel’s upscale identity
- Hire, train, schedule, and lead bartending staff across multiple outlets
- Monitor inventory, ordering, and cost control to maximize profitability
- Ensure compliance with all state and local liquor laws and health regulations
- Collaborate with culinary and events teams to create cohesive guest experiences
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and service
- Analyze sales trends and adjust offerings accordingly
- Handle guest feedback and resolve service issues professionally
Skills
- 2 years of bar management experience, preferably in upscale or high-volume environments
- Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wine, and beer programs
- Proven leadership and team development skills
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Strong understanding of inventory management and cost controls
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Pennsylvania RAMP certification (or willingness to obtain)
