Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards
- Assist with daily prep tasks including chopping, portioning, and stocking stations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations
- Ensure food quality, presentation, and timely service
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Work collaboratively with kitchen staff and communicate effectively during service
- Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies
Skills
- Prior experience as a line cook, prep cook, or similar role preferred
- Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and kitchen equipment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Food safety certification is a plus
