Overview

Duties
- Supervise all aspects of bar operations, including food preparation, drink service, and inventory control to ensure smooth daily functioning.
- Lead staff training and development initiatives to promote excellent customer service, proper food handling, and safety protocols.
- Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate order processing, cash handling, and sales reporting.
- Oversee kitchen management tasks related to food production, culinary standards, and food safety compliance.
- Coordinate shift management by scheduling staff efficiently to meet customer demand during peak hours while maintaining quality standards.
- Conduct interviewing and hiring processes for new team members to build a skilled and motivated workforce.
- Monitor inventory levels regularly, order supplies as needed, and control costs to maximize profitability.
- Ensure adherence to health regulations, sanitation standards, and food safety practices across all operations.
- Support catering events, banquet services, or special functions by managing food preparation and team coordination.
- Foster a positive team environment through effective leadership, supervision, and ongoing training initiatives.
Skills
- Proven experience in restaurant or hospitality management with a focus on bar or food service environments.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and kitchen management principles.
- Expertise in POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for sales transactions and reporting.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle guest inquiries professionally and efficiently.
- Supervising experience in quick service & fast food restaurants or casual dining settings is highly desirable.
- Skilled in inventory control, budgeting, and food cost management to optimize operational efficiency.
- Leadership qualities with experience in staff training, development, interviewing, and team management.
- Knowledge of food safety standards including proper food handling practices and sanitation procedures.
- Ability to manage shift schedules effectively while maintaining high standards of service quality.
