Position Overview:

We are seeking a visionary and experienced Associate Dean of Nursing to join our leadership team in Indianapolis, IN. With a robust cohort of approximately 600 students across LPN, ADN, and BSN programs, the Associate Dean will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of nursing education and ensuring academic excellence, regulatory compliance, and student success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic leadership and operational oversight for the nursing programs (LPN, ADN, BSN).
• Support curriculum development, faculty recruitment and development, and student retention initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with state, federal, and accreditation standards (e.g., ACEN, CCNE, state boards of nursing).
• Collaborate closely with the Dean of Nursing and campus leadership to align program goals with institutional mission and outcomes.
• Oversee program assessment, student learning outcomes, and continuous improvement efforts.
• Foster a culture of academic integrity, innovation, and inclusion.
• Serve as a mentor and resource for faculty, staff, and students.
• Engage with external stakeholders including clinical partners and community organizations.

Qualifications:

• Doctorate in Nursing (PhD, DNP, or EdD) required.
• Active and unencumbered RN license (Indiana or compact state) required.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive academic leadership in nursing education.
• Experience managing multi-level nursing programs (LPN through BSN) strongly preferred.
• Proven ability to manage large student cohorts and lead diverse faculty teams.
• Strong understanding of accreditation and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills
