Overview
We are seeking a California-licensed Psychiatrist to serve as a collaborating and supervising physician for our behavioral health team. This role is focused on clinical oversight, consultation, and guidance rather than direct full-panel patient care. The Psychiatrist will work closely with Nurse Practitioners and behavioral health staff to ensure high-quality, compliant, and effective psychiatric services across our organization.

Responsibilities
- Provide clinical supervision and consultation to Nurse Practitioners and behavioral health staff.
- Conduct regular case reviews to support diagnostic clarity, treatment planning, and medication management.
- Offer guidance on complex psychiatric cases, including risk assessment and escalation when appropriate.
- Oversee quality of care, ensuring services align with current clinical standards and best practices.
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and contribute to care coordination efforts.
- Assist with compliance oversight, including documentation standards and regulatory requirements.
- Provide general psychiatric and clinical guidance to organizational leadership.
- Be available for consultation on an as-needed basis, including urgent clinical questions.
Qualifications
- Active and unrestricted California Medical License (MD or DO).
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry.
- Experience supervising or collaborating with Nurse Practitioners preferred.
- Strong knowledge of psychopharmacology and evidence-based psychiatric practices.
- Familiarity with outpatient and/or long-term care settings is a plus.
- Understanding of regulatory and compliance standards in behavioral health.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to provide clear, timely clinical guidance in a consultative role.

Pay: From $2,000.00 per month
