What are the responsibilities and job description for the Research Collaborator position at ECO EFFORT?
We are initiating a pilot research project focused on controlled environment biological systems, including plant growth optimization and edible mushroom cultivation, in collaboration with an international research expert.
We are seeking individuals who can support local execution, lab coordination, and experimental setup within their city.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and coordinate access to suitable laboratory or controlled environment facilities
Assist in setting up small-scale pilot experiments (sterile setup, growth monitoring, etc.)
Support execution, observation, and documentation of experimental progress
Collaborate with the core team to ensure smooth implementation
Required Qualifications
Background in Biotechnology, Microbiology, Agriculture, Horticulture, or related fields
Basic understanding of laboratory practices (sterilization, handling cultures, etc.)
Strong coordination and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
Access to or affiliation with academic/research labs
Prior experience with plant growth systems or mushroom cultivation
Experience working on academic or research projects
