Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a warm welcome and a positive dining experience. This role requires excellent communication skills and a passion for hospitality, as you will be responsible for managing guest relations and providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests as they arrive, providing a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
• Manage reservations and seating arrangements to optimize table turnover.
• Assist guests with inquiries about the menu, specials, and restaurant services.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to ensure smooth operations.
• Handle guest complaints or concerns with professionalism and empathy.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and dining area.
• Utilize POS systems for managing reservations and tracking guest preferences.
• Uphold high standards of customer service in alignment with hospitality best practices.

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service or customer service is preferred.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with excellent phone etiquette.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a busy environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Knowledge of guest services principles and practices in the hospitality industry.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and helping guests with their needs.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.
• A passion for providing exceptional guest relations and enhancing the overall dining experience.
