Responsibilities:
Greet and welcome guests with a friendly and professional demeanor.
Escort guests to their tables and provide them with menus.
Maintain a clean and organized hostess station.
Answer phone calls and take reservations.
Monitor the dining area to ensure timely seating and efficient service.
Coordinate with servers to ensure a smooth flow of guests.
Assist in setting up and clearing tables as needed.
Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints in a polite and professional manner.
Maintain knowledge of the restaurant's menu, specials, and promotions.
Collaborate with the management team to ensure guest satisfaction and resolve any issues that may arise.
Requirements:
Previous experience as a hostess or in a customer service role is preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Positive attitude and a desire to provide exceptional service.
Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
Knowledge of basic restaurant operations and terminology is a plus.
Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
