What are the responsibilities and job description for the Host/Hostess position at Arooga's Grille House & Sports Bar?
- Warmly greets guests as they enter Arooga’s, accommodating any special needs
- Answers and addresses all phone calls directed to host/ess stand in a courteous, professional and timely manner
- Asks if it is guests’ first time, and if so, alerts manager
- Calculates approximate wait time and manages guests’ expectations when there is a wait
- Thanks guests as they leave and invites them to come back to Arooga’s
- Confirms guest reservations the morning of their reservation
- Performs other functions as time permits and as necessary including, but not limited to, rolling silverware, cleaning entryway, seating
- Advises a Manager of any guest complaints
- Weekend, Evening and Holiday work are required
