What You'll Do:
- Partner with business leaders and technical teams to gather requirements, translate business questions into analytical projects, andcommunicate findingsthrough clear, concise visualizationsand executive-ready presentations
- Translate technical data complexity into business clarity, creating visualizations that distill intricate information into straightforward, digestible formats that non-technical stakeholders canimmediatelyunderstand and act upon
- Develop, construct, and support last-mile SQL transformations indbt
- Proactivelyidentifyopportunitiesto improve data processes, streamline workflows, implement BI best practices, and enhance the overall impact and efficiency of the analytics function
- Collaborate with data engineering and analytics teams to ensuredata accuracy,consistency,and reliability across all dashboards and reports
- Coach, mentor, and upskill junior team membersby providing guidance, sharing best practices, and fostering continuous professional development within the analytics team
- Support the development of self-service analytics capabilities, empowering business users to explore data independently
What You'll Bring:
- Proven experience designing, building, andoptimizinginteractive dashboards in Tableau (or similar BI tools)
- Excellent communication skills;able to work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and present data-driven recommendations
- Highly proficient in SQL, with the ability to improvequeries foroptimaldashboard performance
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and translate findings into actionable insights
- Utilizes predictive analytics toidentifytrends and provide counsel to departments
- High levelof accuracy and attention to detail when working with data and developing analytical outputs
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and projects
- Commitment to ongoing learning and staying updated with the latest BItrends
- Experience working with data transformation tools, includingdbt, for building, testing, andmaintainingdata models
- Familiarity with cloud data warehouses (e.g.Snowflake, AWS)
- Experience with version control systems (e.g.Git) anddevelopment ofbest practices
- 5 yearsexperiencein business intelligenceor data analysis roles
- 5 years writing efficient and optimized SQL querieswith the ability to write complex, optimized queries for performance and scalability
- 5 years of hands-on experience developing interactive dashboardsusingTableau (or similar BI platforms like Power BI)
- Creatingexecutive-level visualizationsoroperationalvisualizations
- 1 years building andmaintaindata models indbt
- Programming skills in Python (desired)for advanced analytics, data manipulation, automation, and statistical analysis
- Bachelor's degree ina quantitative field(e.g.Mathematics,Computer Science, Economics)
- Strong understanding of data modeling principles, dimensional modeling, and data warehouse concepts
The base salary range for this position is $128,000-$192,000 plus benefits. This range represents the minimum and maximum new hire compensation for this role. The position may also be eligible for incentive plans and additional benefits, in accordance with company policy and local regulations. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location with individual compensation also dependent on factors such as qualifications, experience, and skills. Final offers will reflect these considerations and may vary accordingly.
