Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and manage reservations to ensure a welcoming atmosphere.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
• Serve food and beverages promptly and professionally, ensuring presentation meets quality standards.
• Clear tables efficiently by bussing dishes and maintaining cleanliness throughout service.
• Assist with food preparation tasks, including basic meal assembly and garnishing when needed.
• Support the kitchen staff with dishwashing, cleaning workstations, and maintaining food safety standards.
• Provide exceptional in-person customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
• Handle cash transactions accurately while managing POS operations and processing payments securely.
• Support catering or banquet events by setting up tables, serving meals, and ensuring guest satisfaction.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations and guest relations.

Requirements

• Prior experience as a host/hostess, server, busser, or food runner is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm for hospitality is essential.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage positively with guests and team members.
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and POS operations confidently.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, move quickly in a busy environment, and lift moderate loads when necessary.
• Experience with beverage preparation or barista skills are a plus but not required.
• Familiarity with restaurant technology such as Aloha POS or Micros POS enhances efficiency but training will be provided.
• A professional appearance combined with excellent phone etiquette supports guest relations efforts.
• Hospitality or catering experience is advantageous for supporting special events or large parties.
