Position Details
●Type: Part-time for the 2026-2027 school year (while school is in session, end of August - mid-June)
●Schedule: Monday-Friday, 2:30-5:30 PM or 3:00-6:00 PM (11:30 AM-6:00 PM on 2 early dismissal days)
Key Responsibilities
●Supervise, manage, and support large groups of children during transitions in and out of the program.
●Plan and conduct daily enrichment activities, such as homework assistance, physical activities, arts and crafts, STEM projects, group work, and other activities as determined by the site supervisor.
●Design and teach a weekly “Club” focusing on a personal interest that the students share, subject to approval.
●Provide documented lesson plans for all activities and “Club” curriculum.
●Supervise and encourage pro-social behaviors in an after-school setting.
●Actively participate in the program’s incentive program.
●Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive, inclusive environment.
●Communicate consistently with supervisors and staff regarding any issues.
●Participate in weekly staff meetings and training opportunities.
●Present a professional and friendly demeanor.
●Demonstrate initiative and teamwork.
●Required to attend and participate in employee trainings.
●Perform other duties as assigned.
