Summary
The Project Manager will oversee commercial millwork projects from kickoff to closeout, ensuring all milestones, schedules, budgets and quality standards are met. This role requires a hands-on leader who understands the carpentry and millwork process, communicates clearly with field teams and clients, and keeps projects running smoothly with a professional and positive demeanor.
Responsibilities
- Manage millwork projects from award to completion
- Communicate project updates to internal teams, clients and field crews
- Coordinate with carpenters, installers, vendors and subcontractors
- Monitor schedules, budgets, and material deliveries
- Review drawings, change orders, and site conditions
- Ensure projects meet quality and safety standards
- Resolve issues proactively and maintain strong professional relationships
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction management or project management within the architectural millwork or related construction industry.
- Minimum 3 years of Commercial Millwork Project Management experience
- Professional demeanor, strong communication, and ability to collaborate with team members, installers, vendors and clients
- Ability to read plans, coordinate schedules, and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Preferred Additional Skills
- Estimating Experience
- AutoCad Experience
- Ability to assist with takeoffs when needed
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $36.00 - $40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 48 per week
