Primary Responsibilities:
- Analyzes and organizes office operations and procedures
- Hires, trains, and supervises office personnel
- Reconcile all bank accounts daily
- Compiles information and prepares reports as requested by management
- Reconciles select accounts monthly which may include floorplan, bank, finance reserves, manufacturer statements, accounts payable etc
- Ensures all finance product sales documents are reported and paid on a timely basis each month
- Assists with preparation of North Carolina sales tax returns in a timely, accurate manner
- Prepares sales commission/chargeback detail reports
- Assists the controller to complete financial statement monthly according to dealership guidelines and the manufacturer's format and time frame
- Closes month by processing accounting month-end
- Participate in preparation for the annual audit
- Review the company's accounting information to identify and resolve inaccuracies or imbalances
- Attending managers’ meetings as requested.
- Other tasks as assigned.
- Minimum 3 years automotive accounting experience
- Preferably experienced with CDK DMS system,
- Health, Dental, 401K, and supplemental Insurance
