Compensation & Benefits:
The compensation for this role is $45,000 to $65,000 per year, paid semi-monthly. In addition to the base salary, there is also a commission structure in place to reward outstanding performance. Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Identify and locate automotive parts based on customer needs
- Use parts manuals, computer databases, and other resources to find and order parts
- Recommend additional products or services to customers when appropriate
- Keep track of inventory levels and order new parts as needed
- Price and label parts accurately
- Maintain a clean and organized parts department
- Provide excellent customer service at all times
- Keep up-to-date with new parts and automotive technology
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working with automotive parts
- Strong knowledge of automotive parts and their functions
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Computer proficiency, specifically with parts databases and systems
- Ability to lift heavy parts and stand for long periods of time
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Valid driver's license
