Milliken Corporation is expanding throughout East Tennessee, and we are looking for a reliable, driven professional to establish a strong presence for us in the Knoxville area. This person will serve as our eyes and ears in the market—developing new business, building local relationships, assessing properties, identifying project opportunities, and representing Milliken throughout the region.

At Milliken, we call our sales professionals Customer Relationship Specialists (CRS) because our success is built on lasting customer relationships, not simply closing sales. As a CRS, you will often be the first face our customers meet and will remain a trusted point of contact throughout the project and beyond.

This is a field-based position for someone who can manage their time, take initiative, and work independently while remaining an active part of a team located across multiple markets. Regular communication, follow-through, and personal accountability are essential.

What You’ll Do

• Develop new business throughout Knoxville and the surrounding East Tennessee market
• Build relationships with property managers, facility managers, business owners, developers, and other commercial decision-makers
• Identify potential projects through networking, prospecting, property visits, referrals, and community involvement
• Conduct property assessments
• Prepare estimates (alongside our estimating team)
• Maintain consistent communication with customers throughout the estimating and project process
• Coordinate closely with Milliken’s operations, estimating, and leadership teams
• Oversee projects in the field and help ensure work is completed safely, professionally, and according to the agreed-upon scope
• Identify future capital-improvement needs and help customers plan upcoming projects and budgets
• Serve as Milliken’s dependable local presence throughout East Tennessee
• Track opportunities, customer communications, follow-ups, and project activity
• Represent the company professionally at job sites, meetings, networking events, and industry functions

Experience with concrete, asphalt, parking lot maintenance, grading, drainage, masonry, construction materials, outdoor living, estimating, or related scopes of work is a plus. Experience working with commercial properties or property-management companies is also valuable. However, we are willing to train the right person.

Strong relationship-building skills, sound judgment, a positive attitude, and a genuine desire to grow are essential.
