We are a locally, family owned and operated healthcare agency that specializes in Home Health Visits and Private Duty Nursing. What will I do as an Intake Specialist?
- Receive referrals via fax, telephone, or EMR systems and carry the patient from referral to admission
- Interact with physicians, case managers, and family members to ensure all required documentation and information is obtained for a successful admission
- Communicate with marketing team to help promote care/services to prospective patients and referral sources
- Plan activities and initiate contact in the community to enhance the visibility of the company and generate an increasing customer base
Requirements of an Intake Specialist:
- Associate Degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare or equivalent experience
- Minimum One (1) year of working in an office setting as a member of a fast paced team
- Strong prioritization and time management skills. Must be detail oriented.
