Parts Sales Associate

Summary:

We are seeking a personable, motivated Parts Sales Associate to provide excellent customer service, assist with parts sales and selection, support inventory operations, and build strong customer and supplier relationships. The ideal candidate is a dependable, adaptable problem solver who communicates effectively, takes initiative, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist customers in identifying and selecting the correct parts and products.
• Provide knowledgeable, professional customer service and technical product support.
• Process sales, orders, returns, and related transactions accurately.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with customers, suppliers, manufacturers, and team members.
• Assist with inventory, receiving, stocking, and maintaining an organized and safe store environment.
• Work proactively to resolve customer concerns and accomplish assigned tasks with minimal supervision.
• Collaborate with team members to meet sales and customer-service goals.
• Maintain accurate records and use company computer, point-of-sale, and inventory systems.
• Stay current on parts, products, and industry trends.
• Maintain confidentiality, integrity, and professionalism in all business interactions.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or 2 years of relevant industry experience preferred.
• Parts or retail sales experience strongly preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with an insurable driving record.
• Strong verbal, written, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Excellent customer service and relationship-building abilities.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Proficiency with basic computer applications; Microsoft Office experience preferred.
• Ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization and as part of a team.

Physical & Work Requirements:

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and regularly sit, bend, stoop, stretch, and reach.
• Ability to lift and move parts and boxes weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to safely access shelves up to eight feet using a stool or ladder.
• Ability to use appropriate equipment to move heavy parts and equipment.
• Ability to perform brake drum/rotor work and hydraulic hose assembly when applicable.

As a government contractor, we maintain a strict drug-free workplace policy. Pre-employment drug testing is required, and ongoing random drug screening may be conducted, including substances prohibited under federal law (e.g., marijuana).

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
