Our client is a fast-growing $500M software company who is looking to add to their dynamic team. Dynamic, tech-centric environment that values precision, problem-solving, and teamwork.-Position Overview:We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Intermediate Accountant with 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably within the SaaS or technology industry, to join our finance team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records and supporting our continued growth. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, comfortable with a fast-paced environment, and technologically savvy.-Key Responsibilities:General Ledger & Month-End Close: Assist with the accurate and timely month-end and year-end close processes, including preparing and posting journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations for various general ledger accounts.Financial Reporting: Support the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements (balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements) and assist in internal management reporting and analysis of financial information.Accounts Payable/Receivable/Payroll: Record and reconcile accounts payable, accounts receivable, and assist with payroll processing in an accurate and efficient manner.Compliance and Auditing: Ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and assist with documentation for internal and external audits.Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and assist in implementing changes to increase efficiency and accuracy in financial operations, leveraging technology and automation where possible.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with other departments (e.g., IT, Sales) to streamline financial processes and provide financial support and insights to non-financial stakeholders.Qualifications:Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant accounting or public accounting experience, with experience in the software/tech industry a strong plus.Technical Skills:Proficiency in accounting software packages (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle Financials).
