Process Engineer II
Overview
This role focuses on improving industrial process performance through design, analysis, and field support. You will work across operating facilities and new projects to drive efficiency, reduce waste, and optimize production systems.
What You’ll Do
- Develop and refine process designs including PFDs and P&IDs
- Build material and energy balances for new and existing processes
- Support plant troubleshooting and implement cost-effective solutions
- Generate equipment specifications and design packages
- Analyze operations to improve yield, efficiency, and throughput
- Support capital and optimization projects from concept through execution
- Design systems for handling solids, liquids, and gases
- Assist with project tracking, timelines, and deliverables
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including operations and engineering
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or related discipline
- 3–5 years of process engineering experience in an industrial environment
- Experience with PFD/P&ID development and plant optimization
- Familiarity with process simulation tools (Aspen, ChemCAD, or similar)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
- Clear communication and ability to work independently
Work Requirements
- Approximately 20% travel to operating facilities
- Valid driver’s license required
