Prominent New York City based mid-sized Law Firm is seeking a receptionist/assistant to join their dynamic support team. Great opportunity for a candidate who loves the hospitality world but wants to do it in a professional services environment.
Responsibilities
- Serve as an ambassador of the firm
- Be the first point of contact for in-person visitors
- Answering and directing telephone calls
- Greet, announce, and escort guests
- Reserve conference rooms
- Maintain appearance and organization of front desk and reception area
- Manage hotel desk system
- Hours are 8am – 4pm with some light paid OT beyond related to onsite events
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience working in a client facing, professional services environment
- Professional with a polished demeanor
- Excellent interpersonal and client service skills
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Strong computer skills
- Be a punctual, organized, detail oriented with the ability to multi-task
